Overview

A healthcare startup approached N P Medtech with an idea for a wearable, home-use ECG device intended for personal cardiac monitoring. The client needed a functional prototype to validate the concept, demonstrate accurate ECG signal capture, and support early clinical and investor discussions.

The Challenge

The project began at the concept stage, with no existing hardware, firmware, or prototype. The device needed to reliably acquire ECG signals, operate safely in a home environment, and present data in a clear and user-friendly manner, all within a short development timeline.

Our Solution

N P Medtech designed and developed the complete ECG wearable prototype, including low-noise signal acquisition hardware, embedded firmware for real-time ECG processing, and wireless data transmission. We also created a simple and intuitive user interface to visualize ECG waveforms and supported the development of an ergonomic wearable enclosure suitable for home use.

The Result

A fully functional ECG wearable prototype was delivered, capable of capturing clean ECG signals and displaying real-time data. The prototype is now used for early clinical evaluation, investor demonstrations, and as a foundation for future certification and product development.
